Andes Journeys LLC, is a travel agency specialized in quality angling destinations based in Missoula, Montana.

Managed by Anne-Marie Williams & Cristian Dufflocq.

Fly fishing is in Cristian’s blood. His father, Adrian Dufflocq started, Cumilahue, the first fly-fishing lodge in Chile back in 1964. As soon as Cristian could row a boat he was taking anglers fishing, including famed author Ernest Schwiebert, Ernest Hemingway’s sons Jack and Patrick and famed bamboo rod builder Hoagie Carmichael Jr., son of the famous musician and composer. This experience has provided him with a one of a kind upbringing, comparable to few in the fly fishing industry. Cristian and his brother Marcelo, have explored most of Chile’s Lakes District and Patagonia looking for exceptional fishing waters, which through tireless dedication and effort, have found. Cristian has guided anglers to remote corners of Chile such as the rivers of the Chilean Fjords and their lodge, Estancia de los Ríos. Anne-Marie also comes to the business through upbringing, with her parents founding, Fundo el Salto Lodge in the Chilean Lakes District in 1986. She gained experience working summers at the lodge, which set her up to seamlessly assist in the managing of the lodge when she and Cristian took over. Anne-Marie and Cristian immigrated with their family to the United States in 2008. They took all the experience, knowledge and passion for travel and fly fishing and created Andes Journeys. With over 30 years of participation in the industry, they are passionate about exceptional travel, the outdoors and the connections that enrich and enliven the human experience. To complement fishing trips in Argentina and Chile, they have put together a select list or remarcable destinations at their www.bestlodges.com
